Summer Residence 2009

In summer 2009, we are pleased to be able to offer our students the option of accommodation in a university residence in addition to the choice of homestay accommdation. From 19th July until 15th August, students will be able to stay at a Bournemouth University residence. The accommodation is split up into 5 bedroom apartments with each bedroom having en-suite facilities. Each apartment has a shared kitchen and living room.


The residence is in the centre of the beautiful town of Poole, only 15 minutes away by train. It is 5 minute walk to the town centre. The building is safe with 24 hour porter security. It was opened in September 2007 so standards of accommodation are high. Apart from the apartment living room there is a larger communal area with vending machines for snacks and drinks.


There is a laundry room with commercial washing machines and dryers for students’ clothes. The kitchen includes fridge freezer, microwave, kettle, toaster, ironing board and iron - a home from home! Poole is a lovely location with great transport links to explore nearby places.

  Speak to Eve the Academic Manager. She has many years experience working with international students both in the UK and abroad.
  

• Need to talk about a booking or financial matter?
  Speak to Denis the Client Services Administrator. Denis has worked for Regent Bounemouth for four years but before this he worked for many years as a computer systems support manager for JP Morgan.

• Need to talk about an accommodation or welfare matter?
  Speak to Michelle Accommodation and Welfare Officer. Michelle has worked for Regent Bournemouth for 10 years and her local knowledge is invaluable.
