The University of Brighton, Phoenix Residence is an affordable, high quality  residence in central Brighton. It is close to shopping, nightlife and the sea.  It is available to Regent students in the summer months only.

Value for money

Phoenix Residence is excellent value for money self-catering accommodation. The residence is a place for students to live in Brighton. It is only 500 meters from the sea and the cosmopolitan city centre. Regent Brighton is a short bus ride away.

Excellent Facilities 

The accommodation is split into flats containing 8 single en-suite rooms. All rooms have a single bed, desk, wardrobe and a separate shower and toilet. The flat kitchens are fully equipped with an electric cooker, refrigerator, two freezers, microwave, kettle, crockery and utensils. Laundry facilities, telephone and student lounge are available. Guests are responsible for tidying their own bedrooms and washing their dishes. You should also bring your own towels. Bed linen is provided and the lounges and kitchens are cleaned once a week. 

There is a market, shops and supermarket within easy reach where you can buy food

Phoenix Residence is a great experience for the more independent-minded person. You have privacy in your en-suite room but can mix with other students from around the world and from other language schools in the residence kitchen or lounge.

There are lifts to all floors in 3 blocks - A B C. 
Each Block has a separate door entry code and there is an intercom entry system for each flat.
1 Telephone on ground floor of each block

Rooms become available from 3pm on day of arrival.
Reception office staffed 24 hours a day in C block
Communal laundry in C Block; £1.40 per wash, 20p per drying cycle (prices subject to change).
Vacuum cleaner, mop + bucket, Long brush and dustpan + brush provided in kitchen/lounge
