The Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL) is an exam which tests English language proficiency in four key areas, reading, listening, speaking and writing. Each section is marked out of 30, these scores are combined to give a total score out of 120. Recognised at more than 9,000 universities and agencies worldwide. Our programme is designed to prepare you for the iBT exam.
The test is made up of four sections which are:
Reading: Read 3 or 4 passages from academic texts and answer questions.
Listening: Listen to lectures, classroom discussions and conversations, then answer questions
Speaking: Express an opinion on a familiar topic; speak based on reading and listening tasks.
Writing: Write essay responses based on reading and listening tasks; support an opinion in writing.
