Regent Oxford student Philipp Lochbühler recently took a 3 month CPE prearation course with Regent Oxford, and his hard work and the dedication of his teachers meant he passed his exam and can now take his next steps into his international future. On Monday 5th June, staff and students at Regent Oxford celebrated World Environment Day. Environmental issues have been in the news recently with the signing of the Paris Agreement and this inspired our students to take a closer look at the issues surrounding the environment.
World telecommunication and information society day is held each year and gives us a chance to consider the impact of modern technology on our lives.
We marked this day with activities in our schools, each taking a different approach to their exploration of telecommunications and technology.
May 17th marks world telecommunication and information society day. A day which we can use to consider the role of technology in modern life. Technology is constantly changing and evolving, and as a result so does the vocabulary used to describe it. This can have a huge impact on our learners who may need to use their English for work or further education where specific vocabulary may be required. As such, we took the opportunity this week to explore the idea of telecommunications and information technology further.
