On May 10th, a team of teachers and students from Regent Oxford ran in the Oxford Rotary Club charity fun run. The 5K run gave teachers and students a chance to bond as a team and have a some fun to raise money for Regent's charity of the year, the Kalinchowk Youth Dolakha Nepal.
The Regent Oxford team, The Big Bananas, was led by the school principal Doris, who encouraged the whole team to dress in bright and unusual outfits to help the team stand out and to create a sense of team spirit. All our participants made a fantastic effort and won the Study Travel Magazine prize for best fancy dress!
Congratulations to everyone who ran in the fun run, you managed to raise a fantastic £150 for Regent's charity of the year Kalinchok Youth Dolakha Nepal, a youth based community volunteering organisation working towards the permanent resettlement of those affected by the earthquakes which have affected Nepal this year.
