Morning Assembly takes place at 9am on every school day. The Centre Manager greets students and gives out the school notices for the day. Students are tested on the first morning of the course and placed in classes according to their level of English. Class sizes are a maximum of 12 per class to ensure that every student receives personal attention from the teacher. The school day is structured to include activities which develop grammar, vocabulary and phonology, and to provide practice in listening and speaking. Students gain enhanced communication skills, activating existing knowledge and building confidence.
The course is supervised by the Centre Manager. All academic management and supervision is looked after by the Academic Manager. Activities, sports and excursions are directed by the Social Programme Co-Ordinator. Students are welcome to visit the school office at any time when they need information or assistance from any of the school team.
A space to relax and socialise with friends. Table tennis, table football, television and other facilities for indoor relaxation.
We practise English all day long! Breakfast, lunch and supper are served in the school dining hall every day. Students and teachers eat their meals together - a great way to activate new English language skills!
Bedrooms are either single rooms or shared rooms. Shared rooms are usually of 3 or 4 beds per room. Each student has a desk area for homework.
Every day is action-packed and the school grounds offer lots of space for a wide choice of sports and activities. On the sports fields we play football, cricket, rounders and team games.
Indoor sports such as volleyball, tennis, table tennis and basketball are played in the school's indoor sports hall.
Swimming takes place at nominated times in the day and swimming sessions are supervised by teachers. The pool is great for watersports and team games as well as for swimming.
Lots of open space for relaxing and spending time with friends. In their lesson breaks and in their free time students enjoy the school grounds as a place to relax and be in the company of their new international friends.
